Abstract
The SIOC [Semantically-Interlinked Online Communities] Core Ontology provides the main concepts and properties required to describe information from online communities [e.g., message boards, wikis, weblogs, etc.] on the Semantic Web. This document contains a detailed description of the SIOC Core Ontology.

To detect the presence of SIOC RDF data on web pages you may use SIOC Detector – it is a Mozilla/Firefox extension that detects links to SIOC data (via auto-discovery information) and displays a status bar icon. Clicking on the icon will allow you to browse SIOC RDF data.
If you are not using Firefox, you may use the SIOC Browser directly.
